Travis Sullivan is an episodic character on the CBS TV Show, Mom. He is a former drug addict who shows up at an A.A meeting was one day, where Christy, Bonnie, and the rest of the group recognize him as their late friend Jodi’s ex-boyfriend, after hearing his share. He is portrayed by Jesse Luken.

History[]

As of the show’s current season, Travis has only been seen in only one episode, and mentioned in a few episodes as well. In his only physical appearance, he showed up to his first and only A.A meeting where he began discussing that a few months ago, he convinced his girlfriend at the time, Jodi, to get high with him. However, they took it too far and Jodi overdosed as a result. Travis explains he regrets running away from a dying Jodi, and how he is trying to become sober so he can finally begin to fix his life and become a better person. During his share, he even mentions how he knew his drug abuse was getting bad, when even his drug dealer told him that his problem was getting out of hand.

Before going into his next A.A meeting, Christy finds him in the hallway and states he doesn't deserve to be there for what he did to Jodie. Travis agrees with her and leaves, with Christy shouting at him to run away just like he did with Jodie.

A few days later, Travis is shocked to see Christy wander into the tattoo parlor he works at, and only talks to her after she states she’s a customer looking for an ear piercing. He gives her the new earring, but doesn’t give her any warning as he says he only warns people he likes. As Christy tries to convince him he didn’t kill his girlfriend and everyone has a chance to be sober, he break down and asks her if it’s possible for someone “as messed up“ as him can ever stop doing drugs. She then reassures him that if he comes to another meeting, she will introduce himself to her mother, implying Bonnie was far worse while using than him.

Soon enough, Travis ends up going to another meeting and joining the ladies for their post-meeting meal at the local diner, recounting stories of when him and Jodi were together. When he mentions Christy's warning advice for Jodie, he tearfully admits he wished that Jodi had listened to Christy, otherwise she’d still be alive.
