Smokey Taylor and Deathbed Confession is the twenty-second and final episode of Season 1 and the 22nd episode of Mom.

Synopsis[]

Christy and Bonnie help Violet through labor, after which she says a tearful goodbye to her newborn daughter as the Taylors await the news of their adoptive daughter's birth.

Also, Christy is convinced that Bonnie still has feelings for Alvin. Bonnie denies it, but later shares a passionate kiss with him while he lies in his hospital bed.

Title Meaning[]

(Smokey Taylor) Luke's request for the Taylors to name the baby "Smokey Taylor".

(Deathbed Confession) Alvin confesses on a hospital bed that he regrets leaving Bonnie and Christy.
