Episode Description[]

Christy helps Violet in their bathroom with taking a pregnancy test by reading out instructions, only for Violet to clarify that she knows what to do because it isn't the first time she's taken one. Christy is annoyed that she let her read out all of the instructions. Violet asks for privacy while taking the test, Christy leaves but not before telling Violet she will support her no matter what, and then asks her what she's going to do, which Violet is undecided with. Christy tries to talk to her from the other side of the bathroom door, but it only annoys Violet.

Bonnie arrives home to a nervous Christy, Violet asks Bonnie to come in to the bathroom, Christy follows but the door gets shut before she is allowed in, Christy becomes annoyed that Bonnie is allowed in and she isn't. Christy questions why and Violet tells her that Bonnie doesn't lecture her, Christy begins to explain why she lectures her sometimes and then abruptly stops talking and walks in anyway. Bonnie, Christy and Violet wait for the test result to appear while Bonnie tells Violet she will be there for her, to which she is grateful, when Christy does the same Violet tells her "That's your job, Mom." The results turn out to be positive, Violet walks out and Bonnie and Christy talk about how Christy has handled sex talks with Violet, resulting in Christy believing Violet's pregnancy is her fault due to Violet's lack of information.

Bonnie comments that Christy should change her hairstyle and Christy annoyingly notes her comment. Christy questions what they should do about Violet, Bonnie questions her worry and Christy tells her she doesn't want Violet to end up like the both of them. Bonnie questions what is wrong with them and Christy tells her "The fact that you don't know, speaks volumes." Bonnie reminds Christy that Violet has options and then tells her how close she herself once came to giving Christy up for adoption. Violet comes out of her room and announces that she's made a decision: "I'm gonna be a Mom."

Christy gets up and congratulates her before hugging her, Bonnie hugs her and jokes that an advantage of having a kid so young is after a few years you can pretend they are your sibling. She playfully slaps Christy's arm and says "Right, sis?". Christy tells her it's not cute. Christy asks Violet what she's going to do about high school, Violet tells her the baby won't be born until after she graduates, to which Christy tries to hint her nervousness at Bonnie. Violet realizes she has to call Luke, Bonnie questions "You think he's the father?", Violet tells her that she knows he is, Bonnie jokes that unlike herself and Christy, Violet actually knows who the father is.

Roscoe and Baxter come in and Bonnie questions why Roscoe has glitter on him, Roscoe reveals that he went to Baxter's girlfriends apartment and learned how to swing on a pole, Christy questions Baxter's girlfriends job and he jokes that just because she works at another job "doesn't mean she can't dream". Christy tells Roscoe to wash the glitter off and after Baxter makes a child support joke Christy tells Violet that it's not always great knowing who the father is. Roscoe comes back out of the bathroom with Violet's pregnancy test in his mouth, Baxter questions why his son his pregnant.

Christy is at work and reveals to Chef Rudy that her daughter is pregnant, Chef Rudy questions the appearance of her daughter alluding to Christy that he slept with a teenager and was worried. Christy serves a customer and inappropriately jokes with them. She begins to clear a table and Gabriel asks how she is, Christy begins: "I'm working my ass off to take care of my children, I just found out I'm gonna be a freaking Grandma, and the man that I'm sleeping with only has time for me when his wife is out of town, and I desperately wanna run away from it all with a bottle of this but I can't, 'cause my name is Christy and I'm an alcoholic."

Christy drives back home listening to a guided meditation tape, but is frightened by Luke knocking on her door. Luke reveals that Violet texted him that they needed to talk so he brought over food he was given from work, Christy reveals that her day hasn't been great, Luke feels bad for her but continues on with how good his day was. Christy and Luke go into the house and Violet begins to tell Luke, but Christy pulls her aside. She tells Violet that Luke may not have the maturity to deal with the situation; preparing her for a bad reaction. However Violet tells Christy that she will make it work with Luke. Luke comes over and thinks that Christy is pregnant, Violet tells Luke that she herself is the one who is pregnant. Luke tells Violet that everything is okay and that he's gonna love her baby, Violet corrects him: "It's our baby.", to which Luke becomes shocked. Christy becomes exhausted at how ignorant Luke is.

Christy and Bonnie go to an A.A. Meeting, Bonnie reveals she slept with the person currently talking she also points out that she slept with another guy in the room too, Christy and Bonnie joke about it. Christy questions how many people in the room she has slept with, Bonnie tells her "Six". Bonnie goes up on the stand to share with the room, Bonnie critiques Christy before talking about trying to raise Christy while being an addict, and begins to talk about her past as more of a brag.

Back at home, Christy arrives to overhear Violet being a good Mom towards Roscoe, Violet puts him to bed. Violet comes out to see Christy crying and questions what's wrong. Christy is upset that Violet is and is gonna be a better Mom than she is. Violet hugs her agrees that she's a better Mom.

Later, Christy, Bonnie, Violet, Roscoe and Luke are at the hospital. Bonnie jokes that Violet will love her gynecologist due to his tiny hands being "like an Asian raccoon". Christy and Bonnie question whether or not Luke will stay around. Christy is approached by a former classmate and lies about the reason she and her family are there. Violet has a ultrasound and Bonnie continues joking about her gynecologists hands. Violet pulls Christy in and tells her "Mom, I'm gonna need your help", Christy assures Violet she will be there, Christy does the same to Bonnie, who also states that she isn't going anywhere. In the corner of the room, Roscoe reads out the word "Vulva?"

Bonnie: Hey don't you worry, I'm gonna be here for you whenever you need me, 24/7.
Violet: Thanks, Bonnie.
[Christy feels awkward]
Christy: I'm gonna be here for you too...
Violet: That's your job, Mom.

Luke: Yeah. [looks at Christy] You're having a baby.
Christy: So close.
Violet: Luke, I'm having a baby.
Luke: So you're both pregnant?
Violet: No, just me.
Luke: Oh, that's so cool! [looks at Christy] There's still time for you. Not much, but keep at it.
Violet: So you're not gonna get scared and run off?
Luke: Why would I run off? I love you and I'm gonna love your baby.
Violet: It's our baby.
Luke: WHAT? [Christy gives him a dumb look] .... Even better!

[Baxter just brought Roscoe home

Roscoe: Dad took me to his girlfriend's apartment. I learned how to swing on a poll!
[Everyone gives Baxter a look]
Baxter: He's a natural!

Baxter: Doesn't mean she can't dream.
Christy: [to Roscoe] Okay, go wash the sad lady off your hands.

Christy: [looks at Violet] It's not always great knowing who the father is...
[Roscoe comes out of the bathroom with Violet's pregnancy test stick in his mouth and the box in his hands.]
