Season 1= In "Pilot" Christy states that the guy at the table she was serving said something horrible to her when she was telling him about the Salmon, Chef Rudy asks what was wrong with the Salmon, she says the horrible comment wasn't about the Salmon, it was about her. Chef Rudy says "Oh, that's fine" and carries on. Christy picks up a plate of Risotto and states "I mean who are we kidding, it's a big steaming pile of gooey rice!", Chef Rudy and everyone else working in the restaurant turns around to her out of shock. Chef Rudy asks "What did you say?!", in a demeaning tone, and Christy fires back with "Get over yourself Rudy! I saw you in McDonalds going down on a Big Mac!" Rudy fires back to Christy, and everyone who is now looking at him, "...it was a Filet-O-Fish.".

In "A Pee Stick and an Asian Raccoon", Rudy sees that Christy is upset and asks her what is wrong, she says that her teenage daughter is pregnant and Rudy asks who she is with a description for correction, Christy dismisses this and asks why, however Rudy says that there is no reason, although for viewers it is implied that he slept with a teenager with a "cheerleader with an overbite".

In "A Small Nervous Meltdown and a Misplaced Fork", Christy and Gabriel are fighting over their "adultery" relationship, Christy walks out and Rudy tells Paul that he told him they were having sex, but it wasn't confirmed until now. Paul agrees with him using a celery stick. Later on in the episode, Christy tells Rudy that she is aware she has been a bitch recently, but she is working on being a better person. Rudy states that he appreciates the settlement and tells her good luck with it, as Christy walks away, Rudy asks Paul if he's thinking what he's thinking, Paul agrees with him once using a celery stick for the same meaning. Christy walks up to Gabriel, Christy breaks up with him and walks out, Paul and Rudy use facial expressions to mock his sadness.

In "Abstinence and Pudding", Christy is working in the restaurant and asks Chef Rudy "Since when do you bake pies?", he replies that the pastry chef threw a hissy fit and quit because her and Rudy weren't having sex anymore. Gabriel tells Rudy they need to hire a new pastry chef and states that they have to be a man, Rudy states that it won't stop him from having sex with them, according to his newfound bisexuality, adding "You zig, I zag.". Season 5= In "Push-Down Coffee and a Working Turn Signal", it is revealed that Baxter works for a car company. Christy goes to him to buy a car. Baxter asks Christy sarcastically if she knows that cars cost money. Christy responds by saying that she has the money needed. Baxter invites her into his office and Christy describes what kind of car she wants. Baxter then asks her where she got the money, but before she is able to answer, he asks her if she is gambling again, she tells him she's not and he moves on to ask her if her boyfriend gave her the money. Christy replies with "Hey, that's offensive. I got the money from my Mom's boyfriend. My new guy offered, and I said no." Baxter says that she should have accepted the offer and that she should use it before she loses it. Christy replies with "So you're saying I should drain everything I can out of my boyfriend before I become an old hag?", to which Baxter affirms with "Tick-tock". Patrick, Christy's boyfriend, and Bonnie aren't comfortable with the way she got the car (Bonnie didn't know about the loan from Adam) so Christy takes the car back. Later on in the episode, Baxter buys the car for her stating that "Look, we always focus on the bad stuff you did to me, but I did a lot of bad things to you. I would disappear for days on end, I smoked your weed, I slept with your friends." Christy questions him "Friends? I thought it was one?" Baxter shoots back with "One friend six times, six friends one time." and continues, "The point is over the years, I've watched you make up for all the bad stuff you did wrong, and I found it really inspiring. So, this is me making an amendment to you.</tabber>

Christy Jolene Plunkett is one of the Main Characters on Mom. She is the Mother of Violet and Roscoe and the Daughter of Bonnie and Alvin.

Character Background

She is a single mother who has gone a year without drinking and is still struggling with addiction. Now sober, she tries to regain the trust of her daughter Violet. Christy also has a younger son, Roscoe, with Baxter, and strives to be a good example to him. As if that were not enough, she is also trying to iron out the rough edges in her relationship with Bonnie, her mother, who never learned to play her role well, and who would rather go out and drink than baby-sit.

Early Life

Christy Jolene Plunkett was born to Bonnie Plunkett and Alvin Lester Biletnikoff. Alvin abandoned them at the hospital, which resulted in Bonnie nearly giving up Christy for adoption: A nice Jewish couple was going to adopt her, but Bonnie backed out at the last minute. Christy had a rough childhood, and ended up becoming a raging alcoholic and drug addict.

Relationships

Friendships

Chef Rudy

Christy and Chef Rudy
Relationship: Co-Worker
Christy and Rudy have a business relationship. But sometimes Rudy tells her personal things that she doesn't need to know. Rudy sometimes forgets her name.

ChefRudy1x1
In "Pilot" Christy states that the guy at the table she was serving said something horrible to her when she was telling him about the Salmon, Chef Rudy asks what was wrong with the Salmon, she says the horrible comment wasn't about the Salmon, it was about her.

Rudy and Paul then try to blackmail Gabriel into giving them money to not tell his wife, Claudia, that he is cheating on her with Christy.

In "Loathing and Tube Socks", Christy has just been insulted by a customer and she walks into the kitchen angry, Gabriel says "You look really pretty today, did you change your hair?", she picks up his food, replies with "Bite me!" and walks out, Rudy comments, "Is it just me or do crazy waitresses give you a woody?" Paul agrees with him using a celery stick.

Gabriel tries to talk with Christy, Christy tells him to experiment in his own sexuality with Chef Rudy, we see Chef Rudy give Gabriel a look as if he wants to have sex with Gabriel.

Baxter5x12
In "Push-Down Coffee and a Working Turn Signal", it is revealed that Baxter works for a car company.
Baxter5x12(2)
So, this is me making an amendment to you.

Gabriel

Christy and Gabriel

Relationship: ex-Co-Worker with Benefits
Gabriel and Christy are co-workers at the restaurant they all work in. Gabriel and Christy start off as friends but they they get closer. They never have any romantic relationship, they just have a sexual relationship. Gabriel cheats on his wife with Christy for a major amount of episodes and since Christy still doesn't really have her life together she goes through with it, but becomes more scared after meeting his wife, although they both still carry on. Gabriel and Christy no longer see each other.

Pilot
In Season 1, we first meet Gabriel when he tries to tell Christy that he has been told that one of his waitresses is having a nervous breakdown. She defends herself by asking if it's Jennifer. Gabriel tells Christy that she should take the rest of the night off. Christy tells him that she can't afford to do that as she has Violet and Roscoe to look after. Gabriel tells her "Not a problem, grab a couple steaks head home and feed 'em!". Christy then tells him he doesn't understand. Stating "The guy at table four said something really horrible to me, when I was telling him about the Salmon." Chef Rudy over hears this and asks what's wrong with the Salmon. Christy tells him that the insult wasn't to the Salmon it was to her and he told her that she was a good waitress. To which Gabriel and Chef Rudy disagree with and so does Christy - her taking this as an insult, because she knows she's not a good waitress. Christy and Gabriel then talk about her dreams of what she wanted to do when she was in high school. While she carries on working. Christy grabs a plate to serve and insults the food on the plate, also insulting the entire room, as they all look at her in shock. Chef Rudy asks "What did you say?" Christy then defends her opinion saying "Get over yourself Rudy. I saw you at McDonalds going down on a Big Mac." as Christy walks out Rudy defends himself to everyone else, stating that it was actually a fish. Christy carries on waitressing as she serves Jon Cryer who is playing himself.

[Andy appears at the door in his underwear, wearing a dog collar and leash]
Andy: Do you like what you see?
Christy: Andy! Look at you... What's happening now?
Andy: You said you liked to be adventurous.
Christy: Yeah... but I meant, like, pancakes for dinner.

Christy: Oh, you poor thing, you think you have your life together.
